The staff are friendly and hospitable, the shower are always warm and clean due to the volumn of people through them everyday. We have travelled down the west coast of France but our preferred area is in the south. The washing machines in the main toilet block could do with update as they do not clean the clothes very well. The restaurants always performs and are very welcoming People in the campsite are friendly and we have made so good friends. Look forward to see you in 2024. Unfortunately, one of the family got food poisoning from muscles at the bar. This really is not acceptable or the first time and it is likely we will stop eating here unless this changes. “ I have been coming to CDLP since 1976 and love each visit. 2020 has been difficult due to Covid 19 but CDLP dealt well with the situation to make sure staff and visitors were safe. We were very disappointed with the Restaurant as most staff did not wear a mask properly. We were very uncomfortable. The restaurant seems to be very overpriced for the quality of food and service. We realise that the restaurant is not run by the CDLP team so it is a shame that this influences our score (which would usually be higher). Sanitary blocks were cleaned regularly and shop staff were amazing. Reception and site staff were also incredibly welcoming, helpful and did a great job. We were pleased that the music from the next sites beach bar was shut down. Love CDLP. We will be booking again. Thank you to all the staff that put us at ease during a difficult situation and made sure that we had a proper holiday. “ I have been coming here for many years!!! Had a lovely family holiday. We went on holiday for the beach and that’s what we got! kids loved the beach and the rock pools. Enjoyed Feeding the deer. Previous holidays we have visited the park and restaurant but because of Covid decided against this. We used our caravan facilities as much as possible as a personal precaution due to Covid. All of the facilities had increased cleaning in place which we would normally be more than happy with but during Covid it could of been even higher, didn’t put us off as we took precautions when we did use facilities and washed/hand sanitised our hands after use. I would recommend this camp site for an easy going, relaxed holiday. We enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to our next visit. One great one rude and didn't give full information as we needed an early check out but weren't told we could check out the night before so had to wait until staff got in at 8am as they held our passport. Very impressed by range of languages staff spoke- especially one very helpful young man. Toilet blocks could do with code access for paying guests. Throughout the day we observed a number of people off the beach using the toilets which meant despite constant cleaning they were always dirty. Lots of security around which was great. Great cycle routes and walking access in this area too. We would stay again but feel you get more beach for your buck elsewhere. There were always queues outside the door, needed to be better managed/ much quicker. The campsite shop was well stocked but could be a little cheaper for residents. The campsite restaurant was friendly most of the time and had some good value menu options. The underpass is perfect for connecting one side to the other. The beach and surrounding areas sell this campsite. Overall we had a lovely family holiday. The WiFi is extremely poor because the bandwidth varies considerably. Also it is not possible to switch between devices without getting assistance from the supplier. The main problem is the upload speed which frequently is close to zero. It would be better to have no wifi and save customer frustration or completely overhaul the service. Finally, your campsite is the first one we have ever stayed in that did not supply toilet paper. It is a big inconvenience to customers. “ We stayed at Camping De La Plage during August 2018. We had a wonderful stay mostly due to our family and friends that were staying at the same time and the great weather. The campsite is very welcoming, friendly, child safe and has great amenities. You can get virtually everything you need from the camp shop and whilst you pay a little more than the supermarket it is more convenient and saves you the trek and time of the supermarket. The 2 restaurants are good value for money and serve good food. If there was one negative, it would be even better if there was a bit more choice. For one reason or another we ate there 5 times during our holiday and were generally drawn to the same 2 choices - a bit more variety would be welcome. We stayed in one of the villas and unfortunately they were very warm inside due to the weather and lack of air conditioning. I would happily pay a little bit more for some air conditioning. Overall, Camping De La Plage is a great place to stay. “ I have revisited this campsite several times as I have friends that come here too. I have found that any problems are usually fixed quickly. I always stay on the tree or shaded part of the campsite and I like that there is an underpass to connect the shady part with the beach side so I do not have to cross the busy main road. The pizza's are phenominally good! The restaurant can be quite slow to serve food. I have enjoyed some of the entertainment that was on at the bar, which is free! The toilets/shower area is kept very clean, as is the washing area outside. Thank you for putting the shade up this year.
